First off... boy it's hard posting on a french site... lol.
Second... YAY! First international game submission!
Ok. I'm unsure of the procedure for submitting a game into the competition so I'm just going to make it up as I go along, I won't be here to correct anything since i'm on holiday till the 30th July so please bear with me.
Basically my game is called Om Mummy Evolution, It's a Pac Man type game, with a twist! Here are some snippets from the Read me!
OME is a remake of a classic Amstrad game originally by Amsoft called Oh Mummy. OME features extra features such as touch screen controls, new gameplay features and new graphics.
Collect the sarchofagus and the key and move onto the next room. Collect treasure for points.
Scrolls can be used to destroy mummys for points. Once a scroll has been collected, contact with a mummy will start touch control. Draw the characters on the bottom screen fast enough to expel the dangerous bad guys. One mummy is hiding in a block every level, try not to reveal it. Collect hourglasses to increase your time meter. Every 5th level the tides are turned and you can user your collected time to attack the mummies, once you run out of time you are vunerable again.
The game features an "evolution" game mode where the graphics cycle through videogame history including grayscale graphics, vector graphics, gameboy green graphics going onto traditional Amstrad 8 bit colour! Wow, technology is great. The gameplay is also more advanced than the original game, now
thats evolution! (wow, I'm really shameless aren't I?)
I hope you enjoy this game as much I enjoyed making it!
